I offer private voice and piano lessons for singers, musicians, and songwriters — available online or in-home throughout Calabasas, Studio City, Westlake Village and surrounding Los Angeles areas.

I’m a professional singer-songwriter, vocal coach, piano instructor, and artist mentor passionate about helping singers, musicians, actors, and songwriters grow into confident, expressive performers and artists.
Music has always been more than just technique to me. It’s about storytelling, connection, confidence, creativity, and discovering your authentic voice. That’s the heart behind the work I do with my students.
As a recording artist, I’ve released original music across multiple genres and understand firsthand the vulnerability, discipline, and creativity that come with being an artist. Because of this, my coaching goes beyond traditional lessons. I help students strengthen their vocal and musical technique while also developing artistry, performance skills, stage presence, creativity, confidence, and emotional connection in their performances.
I work with singers, pianists, actors, and songwriters of all ages and experience levels — from beginners discovering music for the first time to performers preparing for auditions, recordings, competitions, live performances, television opportunities, and musical theatre productions.
Over the years, I’ve helped prepare students for Disney television work, Broadway opportunities, TV performances, professional auditions, and live shows. I’ve also worked with artists and personalities including Merrick Hanna, Belen De Leon, and Indi Star, along with many other recording artists, actors, singer-songwriters and developing performers pursuing careers in entertainment.
In addition to vocal coaching and artist development, I also offer private piano instruction for singers and musicians looking to strengthen their musical foundation, creativity, and musicianship. As a certified YAMAHA piano instructor, I incorporate engaging and effective training techniques designed to help students grow with confidence while building strong technical and musical skills.
What truly sets my coaching apart is my personalized and encouraging approach. Every artist is different, and I believe students thrive when they feel supported, inspired, challenged, and understood creatively. Whether we’re preparing for an audition, developing original music, building vocal confidence, or learning piano fundamentals, my goal is always to help students unlock their potential while enjoying the creative process.
I offer both in-person and virtual lessons and work with students locally and nationwide.
With experience as a professional recording artist and performer, I create lessons that are encouraging, personalized, and designed to help each student grow creatively and technically.
My Story
I began formal voice training before I could even read and started piano lessons at a young age, continuing my studies through college. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and am a classically trained vocalist and pianist with extensive training in voice, piano, performance, and songwriting.
As a professional singer-songwriter and voice actor, I’m passionate about continually growing in my craft and helping other artists do the same. I regularly study with respected coaches and mentors in voice, artistry, songwriting, and performance to stay inspired and bring fresh perspective to my students.
Through years of performing, recording, and coaching artists, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what helps musicians truly connect, perform with confidence, and grow creatively. My goal is to help singers and musicians feel grounded, expressive, and fully themselves when they perform.
Above all, I believe growth happens when artists feel supported, encouraged, and inspired. Whether you’re a beginner or a working performer, I create a positive environment that helps students build confidence, strengthen their artistry, and continue growing both technically and creatively.

We first got acquainted with Briana 9 years ago at Yamaha school of Music when she taught my older son who was then 7 yrs of age. She was enthusiastic and inspiring! What is wonderful about her is that she has the insight as to how to teach a certain child to have the kid be best receptive to the lesson.

I booked a 12 week online keyboard course with Briana. Her process looks like this...
She teaches you theory, song structure, sight reading over a zoom lesson. You then take what you've learned and practice over the next weeks. You are expected to send videos for accountability (which is really helpful). You are also given the tools to learn on your own. She has great energy and is a fantastic instructor. If you are looking to learn, improve, or brush up on your skills, she is your gal!
