How Coaching Works
Our Vocal & Music Coaching is designed for Singers & Musicians looking to accelerate their growth in Voice & Piano.
Coaching is available both online and in-home, depending on location and the coaching option selected. The studio offers both drop-in lessons and structured coaching options. Drop-in sessions are ideal for focused needs such as audition preparation or performance coaching, while structured options prioritize long-term progress, sustainability, and clarity.
Below you’ll find answers to common questions about how coaching is structured and what to expect when working together.
Do you offer single or month-to-month lessons?
Single sessions are available on a limited, availability-based basis and are well suited for audition preparation, performance coaching, technique tune-ups, or targeted feedback. For singers seeking ongoing growth and consistency, structured packages and programs offer a more cumulative approach.
What’s the difference between a package, a 90-day program, and a 12-month program?
Packages are short-term and designed as an introduction or bridge into coaching. You can have up to 6 lessons in a package.
90-day programs are 10 sessions providing focused, structured coaching within a 90-day period, tailored to the unique goals of the musician and singer.
12-month programs offer the highest level of consistency and long-term development, along with the best overall value.
Why do you emphasize consistency so much?
Vocalists & musicians reach their highest potential through consistency, accountability, and healthy habits built over time. Consistent weekly work allows technique to develop safely and reliably, leading to stronger, more sustainable results than sporadic lessons.
Structure supports both vocal health and artistic confidence.
How does pricing work?
Pricing varies based on the coaching format (online or in-home) and the level of structure or commitment involved. We offer a FREE Phone Consultation over the phone with each client to ensure the option aligns with each singer’s goals and needs.
Why are there different coaching options?
Each coaching option is designed to serve a different purpose:
Short-term options support focused goals or exploration
Longer-term options support sustained growth and development
This allows singers & musicians to choose an approach that fits their current season and goals.
Do you offer trial lessons?
Rather than a trial lesson, we offer a complimentary consultation to discuss goals, experience, and determine the best coaching option. This allows us to make sure there’s a strong fit before beginning lessons.
For students in the Minneapolis area, our teachers offer brief online meet & greets as an introduction prior to starting coaching.
After the consultation, singers can choose from one-off sessions, short-term packages, or structured programs depending on their goals.
What is included in coaching?
Each coaching option offers individualized instruction with custom exercises designed to support the singer or musician’s specific goals. Additional materials are incorporated as appropriate for the student’s level and area of study, supporting ongoing growth and progress between lessons.
How does scheduling work?
Coaching options that include multiple sessions reserve a consistent lesson time to support continuity and progress. Each option has clear scheduling guidelines shared prior to enrollment so expectations are transparent.
